Kingdom Come 2: Gay Boogaloo
A little piece of contemporary internet history and what it means for us
My friends, I’ve been privileged, from a certain perspective, although it feels more like cursed, to be on the front lines of internet micro-history, YET AGAIN! Here I was, fallen back into gaming for a couple weeks (which I had quit for an over 6 month stretch) and I was poking around on Steam. Steam, if you don’t know, is a massive PC gaming vendor that is totally, utterly woke and full-blown-aids-PC. Politically correct, not personal computer. The personal computer is quite low on steam’s list of priorities, as it turns out.
I just so happened to see that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 released, on its release date (February 4). This was a total surprise to me, as I hadn’t been tracking the game or its development though I knew it was in development. The first game was pretty cool, released in 2018. I have it in my library and played quite a bit of it. It’s a historical action-rpg where you play as Henry in 17th century Bohemia (part of modern-day Germany) and though it has its flaws and weaknesses (the combat in particular is very difficult and tedious), it was a nice historical piece that went to great lengths to accurately portray the time and place of 17th century Bohemia and was just a cool experience.
After seeing the sequel was out already, quite suddenly and seemingly unannounced, I went to look at the store page and read the reviews. And oh boy am I glad I did. I showed up for the shitshow on day one!
I was looking to see if it was delivering on its hype and if it was playable or a buggy mess, but what I discovered was far more heinous and bizarre. As it turns out, after the devs had explicitly said that “there were no black people in Bohemia, period,” and that “Henry already does have a background story in which he is not bi- or homosexual,” now Henry can be bi/gay and they have a token black character. Wow did this their comments not age well.
The developers totally folded on DEI/LGBTQDASFRA agenda ridiculousness, after taking a bold stand against it for the first game. As the review above points out, it no doubt has a lot to do with their acquisition by a mega-corp called Embracer group. They went from brave, to hurray for gay in just a few years.
But even this was not the most shocking bit. I was in the trenches in the review comments, smacking down redditors like a crusader smacks down muzzies, shitposting and unapologetically calling redditcels out for the sub-humans they are, and giving realistic explanations of why homosexuality in particular is outrageous and out of place in that setting, and with a character that has already been established as being a straight white man.
Then steam deleted the review. Literally deleted the review as I was wasting my life looking at dumb new comments. It was swiftly Orwell memory-holed. As you can see above, it was hardly objectionable. The opinions are ‘unsavory’ but it’s not like there’s any slurs or discernible hatred in the body of the review. In fact it’s a pretty clean ‘gotcha’ of the devs for totally violating their own, publicly expressed, principles. And yet, the developers weren’t even the ones to delete the review. Steam deleted it themselves within 12 hours.
It’s honestly been amazing and gratifying to see so many people commenting, showing that they’ve been red-pilled by just this one review. I’ve already had run-ins with steam and learned how woke and treacherous they were last year. I went on a binge of shit-posting across steam forums, as well as more articulate posts about the woke mind virus, and I was mostly banned. Steam always asserts, “the developers control their own forum,” and I got banned from the forums by a couple developers (interestingly by one that is owned by the same company that now owns Kingdom Come Deliverance 2), but I also got banned by steam directly.
They went a couple steps further than I thought they ever would: they not only banned me from forums universally for a time, but they actually banned me from steam purchases temporarily. I was using the exact same credit card for daily purchases during this period and nobody else said “the bank turned it down” like Steam did.
It’s total insanity, and it’s so out-of-character for what steam was and how a for-profit corporation should operate on paper. Refusing somebody’s money because you don’t like what they say is sacrilegious in corporate America and unthinkable to the normie, but it happened to me and I was dumbfounded. It was temporary, and after it expired (I think it was 2 weeks) the steam support people came back to gaslight me saying, “oh we don’t ban people from buying things for any reason,” but I couldn’t buy a game I was going to get to play with a friend for 2 weeks. Same credit card I always use, info entered correctly, I issued multiple tickets with them complaining about it, and got absolute crickets until after they lifted the ban. After that I decided to never give them another dime, and my steam account is 20 fucking years old.
Now we have quite a visible example of steam themselves deleting a review that gained traction which is critical of DEI/faggotry. They jumped the damn shark! This stuff is everywhere. Some people think the left has “put the woke away” and that we’re reversing our trajectory in America at least, but no, that is not so. The core tenets of wokeness are now accepted in the mainstream (homosexuality, LGBTURD, abortion, DEI, ‘green’ shite) and entrenched in law and central to corporate policy. The Bolshevism of the eternal march of progress has simply been privatized and handed off to corporations to preserve the optics of a neutral or even anti-woke government.
The woke hasn’t been put away, it’s gone into the background where it is no longer allowed to be questioned. Overt censorship of dissent is not dialing back or going away, it’s increasing! This example that I witnessed first hand is just one piece of evidence that no, the fight isn’t over and no, we’re not winning my brothers and sisters. Trump is not giving us our Kingdom Come: Deliverance, he’s providing cover for these cretins and pushing their technocratic agenda. Wake up!
Thankfully it seems that more people are waking up, but they still may not put 2+2 together. We are in some dire straits and Trump is more of a problem for us than a solution. He distracts everybody and makes the “conservative”/right-wing think that they’re winning when they’re actually giving ground. It hasn’t stopped, it’s all still full-speed ahead.
Look at all the properties Embracer Group holds. Corporate consolidation continues apace, buying the world out from under us to make it brown and gay.
Just thought I’d share this,
Shalom my goyim.
I'm actually playing the first game, and although no homo shot was around, there was plenty of actual fornication going around, including with the main priest of the lore, so color me unsurprised for it has become in the sequel. Fornication is not wex for love's sake mind you.
