My friends, I have just had a cataract removed, praise God! Not the literal kind of cataract, my eyes are *probably* fine, but the spiritual and figurative sort. It was a blindness to Catholicism that I have held for, seemingly, my whole life. So for this Christmas, I am giving you the great gift of liberation from a satanic, child-molesting false religion that has been false as long as it has existed.
Just to really piss everyone off, there is literally no different between Catholicism and Orthodoxy. Their big split was over whether the holy spirit emanates from The Father alone, or Father and Son. It was the 11th century equivalent of a schism over whether the curtains should be blue or purple, and there’s really very little difference between the two besides cosmetics. I suppose you could say the Catholic church has become more liberal over time, while the Orthodox church has become more politically controlled by Russia.
I’ve found I have a surprising blind spot. I rant and rave against Protestantism’s many sins and failures because that’s what I know. I was raised baptist-ish and since being reunited with My Father that’s really all I’ve experienced. I suppose my experience goes beyond the narrow confines of Protestantism, as I’ve also waded into Messianic Jewish movements and really out-there denominations and even cults (not Mormonism though), but with Catholicism I have had very little experience. I think I’m one of the only open-minded people on the planet.
My mother was raised Catholic and was saved in the Catholic Charismatic movement. She’d never darken the door of a Catholic church so I had 0 exposure in my entire upbringing. I never got the appeal, as I already disliked how authoritarian and conformist the Protestant religion I grew up in was, and Catholicism was like the high-fructose corn syrup of Christianity in comparison. It simply didn’t deliver the flavor I wanted, just all the bad health effects.
As a result, the first experiences I’ve had with Catholicism for as long as I can remember were in the past 4 years, since renewing my faith. I’ve harbored a soft spot for Catholics and even advocated on their behalf, because they’re by far the most active in the pro-life movement. Being in front of abortion mills and seeing the unremitting evil and hatred from both within and without the very gates of hell left me with the notion that, hey maybe we shouldn’t have an internecine war between Catholics and Protestants here and instead focus on what we agree on. One of the strongest believers I’ve ever met is also a Catholic I met in the pro-life ministry, and I would go to mass with him from time to time.
It was really a case of being in the foxhole together, so I got in the habit of turning a blind eye to problems with Catholic doctrine and their church institution. I already knew Catholicism taught a lot of falsehoods and is a hot mess in doctrinal terms, but I was focused on the problems in Protestantism and particularly Evangelicalism (Zionism) so I paid little attention. Because of some tangential agreements with common Catholic positions — aggressively pro-life, anti-divorce, anti-birth control, pro-tradition, big families, not being Zionist, etc. — I actually came to view Catholicism slightly more favorably than Protestantism on net-balance.
But then I saw the other side of the coin.
You’re both right
The harsh reality is, that these strong Catholic believers I’ve met, and these things I associate positively with Catholicism, are far from the norm. The Catholic church is massive, with about 1.4 billion members, and is not as uniform as you would expect. I got to know what I call the “Renegade Catholics”, the hardcore believers and advocates that don’t just follow the pope around picking up his pope. Groups like Church Militant (although looks like the gay got in there, too). They read and studied their Bibles and threw Francis’s latest encyclical in the dumpster where it belongs. This was my impression of Catholicism, and I was almost more inclined to go to a Catholic church than any other type.
But this is not what the great bulk of the Catholic church is like. These people are outliers, a rare breed: a remnant.
Recently I’ve been getting into more and more discussions and arguments with Catholics suffering from severe brainrot. It has drawn to my attention the fact that the overwhelming majority of Catholics are deeply, deeply deceived. They have no relationship with Christ and it is their church that stands in the gates of heaven demanding they bow and swear obeisance to be allowed in, only to discover too-late that these were actually the gates of hell. The Catholic church has always been an overtly political organ since its inception, which happened somewhere between Constantine’s conversion in 312 A.D., the first official pope Damasius I and the 6th century when it was well consolidated. It sort of accreted over time, after which it declared all non-Catholics to be heretics and viciously persecuted anyone that dared question it. Don’t take religious tolerance for granted, it is a product of centuries of Catholic religious wars and persecution. Were it not for the Reformation, which forced the papacy to ‘cool it’, they’d still be up to their old tricks (slaughtering all opposition, mostly).
It honestly surprised me how common the Catholic brainrot is. I suppose I had assumed that the majority of Catholics knew that their church was lying to them, and they just sort of winked at it because it provided them with community, roots, and a place. I thought the deceived Catholics were a minority of silly, childish, naïve people. Turns out that no, they really do believe this demonstrably-false trash.
Many wings of Catholicism are also quite overtly pagan, such as its South and Central American branches. It is a chameleon that will blend in and parasitize any and every culture, growing more milquetoast and diluted each time. The one non-negotiable is the demand of submission to its earthly authority.
Claims like the infallibility of church tradition and its equivalent authority to Scripture (try making a biblical argument for that one, sheesh), and every type of solipsistic rationalization for backwards practices and superstitions that are not only un-biblical, but anti-biblical, are still being bandied about. They celebrate all the pagan holy days, and removed the biblical feasts from the calendar. Protestantism’s most grievous errors all stem from the Catholic traditions that they failed to correct and its top-down political institutional church structure. Protestantism itself is actually the great schism, not Orthodoxy, as it is really a branch of Catholicism rather than something new. The Protestants/Evangelicals have come full circle to teach the same sentiments as the Catholic church does: falling under an institutional hierarchy, having man between you and God, professionalization to withhold truth from the masses, etc. etc. At least Catholicism is more honest that they actually say they hold a monopoly on God. Protestant churches believe and enforce the same but couch it in deceptive language.
It seems like I have no allies, it seems I am at war with literally everyone. I am Israel after all!
32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. 39He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. 41He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. 42And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
There is no man nor bureaucracy nor Mutti Mary between you and Christ, His covenant is with YOU, not national Israel, not the Pope nor his wicked servants. Christ is our deliverance, our promise, our hope, and our temple. Leave empty formalities and rituals behind. You can study for 10,000 years and still not understand a word of Scripture. It is only with the Holy Spirit and an earnest pursuit of truth that you can gain wisdom and understanding. The most educated are often the most deceived, it holds true in all areas of life.
Repent from this iniquity that is trusting in man rather than God. It comes in all forms and in nearly every institutional church. The days grow shorter and more evil with each of their passing. Will a pope be the antichrist? I severely doubt it because even Catholicism isn’t as popular as figures like Elon Musk. I strongly suspect that our religious institutions will soon start aligning under a technocratic banner. Elon is way popular and way cool, and represents the postmodern man: autistic, obscenely rich, selfish, irresponsible, and a bit rebellious. People like this are going to found the new antichrist religion and put chips in your head. Catholicism, and Islam, and Judaism, and Protestantism are all on their way out.
Get out while the getting’s good and found a faithful relationship, not a primitive tribe.
Shalom
I was at a friends house the other day and he said his 11 year said thinks Elon is the antichrist and I laughed but a couple days later I got to thinking about it, and looking into who Elon actually is... and his profile pic of baphomet and neuralink seeming to be a pretty guess to be a " mark of the beast"... and you saying that and I wonder about the leader of the new world
'Turns out that no, they really do believe this demonstrably-false trash. '

Yes, & this brings to mind all the other blatant obvious Corruption, many people will not see/witness.
To me, Martin Luther's foremost position was/is against LITERAL Corruption, The Bible vs Elite Catholic Corruption .
(Combined with the Gutenberg Press pushing out this LITERAL revolution/Reformation;
Dispersed to the masses.)
This sparked Reformation DNA swam to the USA ;-)
It is this increase in Transparent-Accountability LITERACY that unleashed the efficacy / power of such.
Also, I like to coin M.Luther shouting to the heavens:
'I'll Have My God Direct, Thank You Very Much'

(Getting distracted on who wrote the Bible, etc. would/could be distraction regarding the point currently presented.)

The point then and now is:
'Accountability VS Corruption'
Literal Transparent Accountability
Escaping Bogus-Authority/Corruption.
